SPIRIT R License plate

U.S. license plates do not fit onto the front of a Spirit R... if anyone knows where I can find some sort of front plate "adapter" to mount onto the front of my 2002 Spirit R, please let me know.

Unlike my 1995 RX7, the 2002 Spirit R car came from Mazda with the license plate frame molded into the front bumper. Cosmetically, it looks better than the black, metal license plate frame that is bolted on the '95, but since the car was not produced for the American car market, the holes on US license plates do not match up with holes on the bumper... currently, my plates are fastened to the bumber using tie-straps.. which obviously do not look very nice.

If anyone has any thoughts (other than drilling holes into the bumper) then please let me know.

Thanks!

Joe

that has to be one of the funniest things on here... lounge worthy. and why not drill your license plate to fit instead?

also, how in the hell did you manage to get a plate for a spirit R? anybody know if they can be made road legal?

HAHA, ummm why not keep the spirit r's RX7 plate on there and forget out putting your illinois plate? I want to say the same thing as above, but that's just not nice haha!

Yeah, well I've been to Astoria and seen the actual house they lived in in the movie, and the school they filmed Kindergarten Cop at....so there

I bet the people that own that house get so ******* annoyed with people like me coming and taking pictures, the ******* town even advertises it all over with maps and whatnot. I'd be pissed.
