Spirit R Grey BBS Wheels, what color code?

Hi!

I have a pair of nice BBS wheels that look like the OEM Spirit R/RZ BBS wheels, but they are 18". I would love to paint them exactly the same color as the dark grey colored-OEM Spirit R/RZ BBS wheels. Does anyone know the color-code???

Some pictures from the internet of the OEM RZ/Spirit R BBS wheels I'm talking about. I would love to know the color/paint-code. Thank you guys

I don't know the color code and I wish I could be more help. I've always loved that combo too. What wheel do you have?

Here they are: 18x8 et 35, and 18x9 et 35. they would look awesome with the OEM RZ/Spirit R dark grey color. trying to figure out what tires I want to buy for them. I like meaty wheels , not so fan of low profile or stretch.

Woow, what a beauty! Yeah, they look extremely clean in that color . Do you remember the dim and tire spec?

theyre not so much painted as they are coated. similar to the SBC that the RPF1 comes in, the spirit r wheels are "coated" in that color. im not sure you could replicate it honestly. you would just be best getting as close as you can

I recently bought a brand new set of BBS RGR 17" wheels for my current rebuild for the FD I found in old inventory which were discontinued 5-7 years ago (got the last four- two 9"-42 offset front and two 9.5"-38 offset back) that are in Diamond Black. The Diamond Black is very close to the Gunmetal color of the Spirit R's. I was told by my local coating shop that they could ceramic coat the wheels with a grayish clear ceramic coat that would come closer to the Spirit R's color and also would help protect the wheel. I haven't done it yet, but seems reasonable. Check with any of the ceramic coating/wrap shops near you to see what they say.

Thanks for all reply, guys! Appreciate it. I didnt knew it was only a dark coating. I thought it was a specific paint color. For me it look like The Diamond Black seem very close to the original dark coated 17" Mazda BBS wheels.

My wheels were originally silver and I had them refinished at a shop in Chicago, it was a multi step process but I think it came out pretty decent. Sadly they are no longer in business.

lol wow before I got coilovers

Soo nice 👌🏽 Do you remember what tire size you had? I love the meaty look of the tires. How can I get that exact meaty tire fitment on 18x8 and 18x9 wheels?

Mine are actually 17 inch wheels. Front:8.0Jx17+40 Rear:9.0Jx17+42 for tires I am running Bridgestone RE71R 235/45 17 (F); 255/40 17 (R)

Found a shot with coilovers

Thanks! Perfect hight too , imo. Do you have any shots from the rear wheels? I think I'll go for 245/40 on the 18x8, and 265/35 on the 18x9. Alternatively 235/40 and 255/40..
