spirit r conversion question

the original spirit r rims were BBS manufactered i think, the closest ones ive found are the BBS rxII or does anyone know whats the closest looking ones? I have a 93fd, is it possible to make it a four seater by removing the cargo boxes? or is the car still too short/compact? and last question, im also getting some rota p45r wheels and i want to know what would be the best offset for the rear wheels so that it lines up with the fenders? yes im new to the club ^_^ after owning an rx7 no other car feels th same its like the fd was molded around a man fits like a glove

1. BBS did make the spirit-r wheels. They are very similar to the rxII
2. You can install JDM rear seats, they go for about 600ish on the forums, in red or black.
3. To sit flush with the fender depends on a lot of things, like how wide the wheel is and what size tire you plan on putting on. To be on the safe side, anything +40 or more should be fine, you can work with lower offsets with suspension and negative camber.

The Spirit-R used 17" forged one-piece BBS wheels, they are a version of the RG-R.

Only 17" after markets RG-R's must be the 17x8.5 37mm offset (RG722) front and 17x9.0 42mm offset (RG724) or x 9.5 38mm offset (RG726)

The Rii has a similar spoke design but are cast two piece wheels, also don't know about their fitment.

regarding the wheels:

The FAQ and search engine is your friend, so is the suspension wheel section. It's better to look up the info and make the decision for yourself. Also one of the best things to do is when you see an owner post a pic of his car ask what the size/offsets/tires are. Most if not all are happy to relay that info.

Becareful of Rota wheels. I know they look nice and cheap but didn't they not hold up to nurburgring? I know our conditions arent anywhere similar to that but it did bother me enough to stay away from them.
