Anyone else experience this? Stock wheels w/ 225/50/16 tires, always shows +5 over actual speed (verified with other cars and GPS)... I *think* I used the speedo gear that came in the JDM gearbox, need to put my USDM one in?

I'd try swapping the speedo gear. Do you know if your original tranny was on the money speed wise? Just wondering how accurate the speedo is.

My Efini (JDM) does the same thing...about 8km/h out. When I am doing 110km/h, its actually about 102. This also happens to our Series 8.

Bit annoying really, seeing its electronic and should be accurate.

Thats funny.. I've noticed that I seem to go slower then others and I've always guessed I was about 5mph off. Funny... now when I rebuild my tranny I'll have to check out that gear and possibly replace it.
