Speed dial intermittent

My speed dial only works when its wet outside or cold, if its dry and/or warm it stops working. Is there a sensor underneath which could be the problem? If so where is it and any ideas where to get hold of one? Thanks

speedometer sensor connected at C1-08 should be 2 wires, Green/Black and a Blue..under the dash and behind engine block. Call Ray at Malloy Mazda. Good luck
