Specs on Rotor Housings
Specs on Rotor Housings
Can someone tell me what the part numbers are for the 13BREW rotor housings and what the difference is between the front and the rear?
Also, has anyone tried to buy a new set from Mazda Japan? If so, what price did you get quoted?
Thanks...if you can respond right away, I am sitting in Tokyo for two more hours and it would help out greatly..

Part numbers are:
front: N3A1-10-B10
rear: N3A1-10-B50
I don't recall what the differences are. They list for $700+ each in the US but can be bought for a little over $500 each from Malloy Mazda or Mazda Motorsports.

Price is $400 USD in Japan......
Hmmmmmm...the wheels are turning me thinks...
Wonder if this can be taken in checked luggage.... Anyone have experience with this?
Isn't the US customs exemption $400?

From what I remember, when you go through customs, they generally ask about alcohol and tobacco..... Maybe the next time I go to Japan, I'll buy some parts and bring them in....... and see what happens.
I have shipped parts out of the states no problem with customs whatsoever. I filled out the form correct too.
I am wondering if anyone has shipped parts to the states from Japan? With paypal, this is very easy to organize...

My thoughts? Just put them in your bag man. That's what I've done from Canada, Mexico, and the Caymans. Granted, this was cigar's, alcohol, etc. (So, I told a little white lie) But, they never gave me any problems. As long as you don't have a "trunk" your checking that smells like alcohol, tobacco, or drugs, and you're not sweating and looking around, it shouldn't be a problem.
