Does anyone know where to get that black carpet they use to cover speaker box's? Do hobby stores carry it?

ill check that out. I went to lowe's yesterday and all they had was that plastic indoor/outdoor crap.

Just go to a local fabric store. When I used to work for a car stereo shop, we'd go to Fabricland for carpet for custom installs. You should be able to find a good carpet that matches your interior or project that your working on. They also have vinyl if your looking to do a black/tan vinly to match your interior.
