spark plugs for break in period

my tech told me to get stock 7&9 plugs for the break in process before i go straight to all 9's. should I get stock from mazda oem plugs or BUR7EQP & BUR9EQP plugs?

No get them from the local auto store. You will have to search around cause only 1 of 4 company's in your area will stock them. Drop the "P" and get the regular copper (not platinum). Copper is actually better spark which is what you want. It just doesn't last as long, which is sfine because you will be going through a few sets. Change with oil 500, 100, 1500, then you can switch to platinum if you dont like changing them often.

Honestly, it doesn't matter. 7/9s, 9/9s, as long as you aren't running heat range 10+ race plugs you'll be fine.
