Sorry TPS issues....need insight please
Alright, I'm no noob to adjusting the TPs and what not with the amount of times I have torn down the car. At the moment thoguh I am having a problem ..and a fairly big one. My TPS voltage will not set to .4 and 1.00 as recommended via the manual. InsteaD IT SITS AT .45 and 1.00. I'm trying to figure out what could be causing this but can't manage to do so yet. I feel there might be a short somewhere hitting the chasis. Any other Ideas?
The mechanical settings on the throttle body also effects the TPS settings. I suggest reviewing your TB settings to make sure it is adjusted within spec.
You are going to need to look at the AAS under the TB, as well as the 2 screws at the front of the TB

My 1994 factory manual states:
PCME terminal 3F (narrow range):
At closed throttle, voltage should be 0.75 - 1.25 volts
Between closed and open throttle, voltage should be 1.0 - 5.0 volts
At wide-open throttle, voltage should be 4.8 - 5.0 volts
PCME terminal 3G (wide range):
At closed throttle, voltage should be 0.1 - 0.7 volts
Between closed and open throttle, voltage should be 0.4 - 4.3 volts
At wide-open throttle, voltage should be 4.2 - 4.6 volts
It's not clear to me which parameters you think are outside these specs.

These are as close as I got my settings when I adjusted them a couple days ago....and they are well within spec:
Range = Close Voltage - Open Voltage
3F Narrow Range = 1.00 - 4.92 Volts
3G Full Range = 0.45 - 4.30 Volts
Bottom line... don't worry about it because it within spec.

I worry becasue I get some odd buckin under very light throttle but thats probably just tuning issues then. I'm runnign 850cc pri and 1300 sec. SO I guess I will just have to hit the road and keep on tuning.
