Somebody threw a hub cap at my 7

Someone threw a FU@KING HUB CAP at my driver side door below my door handle. NO DENTS. I used Meguires Glaze and Wax, but could not get out ONE kinda deep scratch and two smaller scratches out. I ran my finger nail accross the three scratches and I could feel the scratch......... I have a body shop friend that said that I could go to the dealership and get the touch up paint. Then he could fill it in, wet sand it, fill it in, and finally buff it out..............Or I could go to the dealership and get them to air brush it in. What is the better option???? This 1995 black R2 in mint condition with only 10,000 miles on it and I want I to look like it has never been touched (SHOW CAR). I am worried that I will see from different angles the filled in area!!!! I really do not want to paint it due to the rest of the car not matching perfectly. Sorry for the long rant.......................
Thanks in advance
JMoney

there are companies that specialize in that...small dent/scratch repair...Had some touch up done and it looked great. Cheap too..$75 I think...it was a while back.

Whats wrong with people??? Dont mess with your best friend's girl and never never mess with another man's car!!!

That is soooo messed up. People need to get some respect. Thats like the worst thing you can do to someone, mess with there car. I had some little punks in a neon throw change at my car. I know it hit my car but I don't know if it dented it. I chassed there *** down. Think I scared the **** out of them too. Nothing pisses me off more than someone messing with someone elses car. I hope you find the person who did that to your car. Sorry to hera that. Sounds like your car is in amazing condition.

Is it possible that someone just lost one and you were the lucky person who occupied the same space as the rogue hubcap?

WHAT THE ****!

People need to learn respect. My 7's been dented and scratched a couple of times by people that didn't care.
My 88 Monte SS ( I know, please try to keep from laughing) was pristine when I bought it. I drove up to a pizza shop to pick up my order and there were three kids standing out front. they looked at me when I pulled up, but I didn't think they would **** with me as I was bigger than all of them.
Well, they didn't **** with me. They keyed my car when I was in the shop. The catch is, I didn't notice until I got home. When I went back to the shop to break limbs, they were gone. Jealousy is an ugly thing. I swear to god if I saw it at that time, I would have broken one of each of their arms, and told them that that's how much it will cost me to repaint my car. do you want to see an inner city kid turn from gangster to *****? Hold his arm and wrist behind his back right ot the point when it will break. Then you'll hear plenty of i'm sorry's. ******* pussies.
They can't afford it, so they have to **** up what someone else works really hard to maintain.
I hate people. Those are the people that will sue if you **** them up as well.

That does suck man. This girl I use to talk to was getting out my car one time, she didnt shut the door all the way so she used her *** to bump it shut. Well... now I have a nice round dent in the pass side. Can't tell unless pointed out but still pissed me off. Needless to say I dont talk to her anymore.

I'm sorry man. On the plus side, she must have had a nice booty.
Seriously, that hub cap thing, and the change thing are both over the top. Those are truly bad people. I'm not too much of a violent guy, but I feel no remorse hurting those type of people. They have to learn responsibility one way......or another.
Their parents either did a shity job raising them, or these kids were too stupid to listen to their parents.

Sorry to hear about this. And it bugs the hell out of me that people these days dont have ANY respect for other peoples things. Back in my high school days I had some punk jump onto the hood of my Prelude and left a couple of dents with his *** and hands. Some scratches too since he dragged himself across it. He ended up paying for a new hood. That was a $900 mistake on his behalf.

Caught a guy impressing his friends by tossing a lit cig into my 10AE Miata once. I Whistled at a nearby cop who had an obstructed view, but still questioned the idiot. Turned out the punk had a misdemeanor warrant. I waved as he was driven away cuffed, and got a free set of mats replacing a small burn mark in one.

haha. that reminds me when i had my 10th ann, i went to collect a check from a car lot we put a changer in and some guy backed into it. the people at the lot told me about it and the guy was trying to leave. i stopped him and got his info and made a copy of his license. insurance had been dropped and no longer at the address on his license. i saw him at the drive in with some of his friends in the concession line. just as he paid for his food, i walked up to him with one of my friends and asked him if he remembered me (been a few months). he shook his head and i reminded him about my car...and his bogus insurance...and his bad number...and address. he looked as if he **** his pants. i told him to give me his wallet. i took the $67 he had and he said, "don't take it all that's all i've got". i said ok and gave him a dollar back. as he was putting his wallet up, i was telling him how much i can't stand dishonest people and how they try to get away with **** that they know they did. as i was walking away, i knocked the tray out of his hands that had his nachos, hot dog and coke he just bought .
life's a bitch

Actually, JMoney, If you get that scratch fixed, could you let us know what you do to fix it? That would help me a lot, as my Monte still bears the scars.
Thanks.
Good luck

Why didn't you chase him down?

If someone f*cks with my car they'll really be regretting it since I have an 18" sword underneath my driver's seat at all times. A gun is illegal but a sword is not. You never know what will happen when you're out these days cuz there're lots of senseless ***** like these around.

I also have a fake license plate with a magnet on the back so when sh*t goes down I can simply stick it on my real plates and have an easy exit after the incident.

Crazy? A little ... but I never initiate.

damn wft?? what the hell is wrong with people. I have had so many incidents with my car it ant even funny. I had a fine *** girl back into my ****, I was parked sideways right behind her(whata dumb bitch, her friend said right before she got into the car "what out for the little red car behind you"), and wtf, she backs right into me . I didnt call the police becuase she begged me not to. It was $750. that she had to pay. The sad thing is, i never got it fixed, I bought me a a pfc with it ..
There was another time when i had a box drop on my fender at a drive-threw burger joint. They said it was private property and there wasnt **** about it I could do. (****, no full exhuast) i was going to get the car repainted anyway, thats why I didt get the **** fixed.
I thought it would be cool to post me expericences too.

After a close relative's funeral out of town, I was at the bar with my cousin talking about it...on a Sunday night, at 11pm, and there were three vehicles in the lot. I parked completely away from both of the other vehicles so there was NO way I could get hit...right.

This old *** backs his pickup about 100' and runs his tow hitch through the PS 1/4 panel, over the hood, and then over the headlight. Then the POS leaves the scene (he was obviously drunk and didn't want to go to jail which would have been the least of his concerns at the time if I could have grabbed him) and I only find out by a passerby stopping in the bar and yelling out "who's got the red sports car?" Take about a full-blown heart attack happening.

There was just enough time for the a-hole to scoot and I couldn't find him. I called the cops but they were acousing me of doing something! Even though we got the plate, they still never bothered to catch him and I had to pay all damages. Like he lived far away, he was obviously a townie that late on a sunday night! If it's property, cops don't care at all.

Lesson learned...that's why they make digital video cameras hooked into car alarm outputs Can't run from video.
