I'm convinced that the problem with V-Mounts in this respect is that everyone tries to do them with stock style radiators... even modified. If done right, the radiator shouldn'd be any lower than a stock mount... you're seesntially just rotating it 180 degrees on a horizontal plane. You'l note that the back/bottom of a stock mound radiator is nearly lower than (or maybe even with) the front of the car as well... but the sway bar and mounts are just below it at that point.... With a VM, that lower point should simply be at the front of the car, just behind the lower lip of the bumper.

there are no problems……just solutions.
I havnt gotten around to snapping any pics of it mounted with the front bumper, but I can assure you it is above the plane of the lip and sway bar, and the tow hooks hang down past, so if it is ever hits, it is above any point that should have ever been hit and not caused substantial damage to both the front bumper undertray and supports.

It is a temporary 2 stroke oil tank for my OMP, I need to either find a suitable tank that will fit above the front rebar or construct one, just haven’t had time.
There is a seadoo one that fits alright with more cutting of the front rebar unfortunately, but it does have a oil level sensor already integrated that I can tie into the stock system.
