Some pics before my car goes into storage...

Hey guys I snapped some shots of the car a few weeks ago and thought I'd share them with you. All comments are welcomed even criticism (hopefully there won't be any ). I ended up just taking them on the small side streets near my house.

Unfortunately as you can see my car is victim to a slight bumper sag that has made itself apparent over time.

Thanks. Yea I agree that a little drop wouldn't hurt, but as you may have noticed my R1 lip already got a good scrape at stock ride height.

I'm heading to Southern California for school so I actually only drive my RX7 3 months out of the year now.

Thanks! I've recently considered spraying them and the front turn signals with that tinting spray paint "nite shades" ever since I sprayed my rims black. Maybe next summer

Not crazy about the wing (don't mind the style, but don't like the solid base across the hatch). LOVE the color though. Looks great. I think with the black rims though, the front lip would look good black as well. But that's just my opinion. Nice looking car.

Nice looking ride. I'm diggin the color with the black wheels. Only thing I'm not sure of is the wing, not bad though.

Good luck with the car...

It's lookin good. I like the wheel/color combo. The only thing I would suggest is a 99 spec front and some 99 spec wheels of course painted black to match haha.

Looks really good, but I am with these guys^
Painting the front lip black would look really good.
I even think painting the center section of the RB wing black would look really good too.

BTW are the rims painted or powder coated?

I too wasn't a big fan of the wing when I bought the car and I had a chance to remove it when I had the car repainted, but by then it had grown on me. I don't like the section where it connects to the hatch either. If they had made it like the 99 version where it only connects on the outer edges I think it would have looked a little better. Then again the only time you really notice it is when you see it from the back of the car

I like having the lip painted the same color as the car, because it makes it look lower to the ground. But black would be nice too.

Yea I'd definately like to have a 99 version front end. As far as the rims go, I think I'd actually prefer something else (black of course ).

I like the color too. mind you I ask, what color did you use to paint the rims.??
Just some regular black spray paint from home depot. It's lasted about a year now.

Just spray paint. Powder coating would be nice in the future though.

nice car, im always such a sucker for dark blue fd's. And FINALLY someone who painted the lip instead of leaving it flat black lol.

only critique id say id swap for an r1 spoiler, but thats just my preference.

Thanks for the compliments guys.

When I come back next summer I'll have a whole new list of things to accomplish. It's kind of hard when I'm not around all the time and then when I do come back I have to bring her back to good running condition and deal with stuff like smog and registration. But it's still worth it

Love the car, my only dislike is actually the wheels. Never was a fan of painted rims though, guess I like the bling. Thinking about polished or chrome wheels for my black FD, although chromes would be heavy.

Hmm, looks like you live in the Milpitas area. The hills and street name seems familiar.

Pretty nice man . I would ditch those clear turn signals, they look a tad ricey to my eye. Otherwise,

I'd have to agree. I really think those lights look cheap. Car looks great overall, though.
