Some Overdue Pics of my ride...

A while back (October 9th to be exact) I had a chance to bring my new FD to my old High School for the annual auto show where lots of antiques (And some "Show" car civics etc) and sports cars show up. It was a beautiful, clear day and my car was the cleanest since I got it. I used the Zaino blue car wash soap and it seemed to make the biggest difference.

2 Friends took pictures, one doesn't know jack about photography I guess so I didn't even keep his shots, and these 2 are the one's my other friend took amongst the other cars. The barn shot is my car outside of a location where we pulled out a blown motor and dropped in a reman on my friends FC.

*After seeing so many mod'd crazy FD's, nothing makes my mouth water quite like this perfect side shot of a stock-ish FD. Maybe lowered on CCW's will top it off someday, and if I make my car black :P*

LOL I got laughed at by my friend when I got excited cause the previous owner said he had the stock mudguards and efini emblems for the car, let alone an R1 front lip.

@ $175 per mudguard, it was going to be a tough price to swallow for my Ideal 3rd gen "Body kit"

Car looks great, I still contend that stock (or 99 stock) is the only way to go with these cars, you just can't improve on the looks anymore.

Be sure to post some pics when you get those CCW's, i've got a teaser pic of my car "borrowing" a set from a friend (before the eibach springs..looks like a 4x4). After I saw his wheels on my car, I decided that those were definately what I wanted.

I consider a rare care this beautiful something worth looking at, yes, something worth showing at an antique & sports car "Show".

It wasn't Hot Import Nights, and even at those events, as "Show" as a kitted, $50k invested interior tegra/civic is...there isn't much there that I'd like to see.....except perhaps NEVER again. None are to my taste...ever. Perhaps I think cars are for driving? Leave the TV's and music (to some extent) for places like...a House.

jayk: Umm thanks. I'm glad I didn't ruin it...either.

Section8: Did you post that a while ago? I have that pic saved! The only thing I have against (or reasons to get a different rim) the CCW's is that I like a 5-spoke design with a big lip...decisions decisions! Thanks for the pic, very juicy, we think alike.

Yeah, I think I posted that pic shortly after it I took it. I'm really taken with this design, although the new style is even nicer looking, the spokes go further towards the lip.

I agree I love the way my FD looks the only exterior mod that I'll be getting but not anytime soon would be some Volk Racing wheels but the car STOCK is beatiful but I have to have my R1 wing and lip :-)

now that you like the way the exterior look start putting some mods in the engine...what do you have planned...at least reliability mods, like downpipe, radiator....maybe a better intake..

The car has a brand new DP, High Flow midpipe, Aluminum AST, replaced Coolant hoses, new IC piping, Water Temp Guage on pillar with AFR/Knock Sensor as well, plus a boost guage. I have a fuel filter and some spark plugs/injector/wires ready for their routine maintenance....

How's that? :P

I can't get an intake just yet because of the 3-mod rule, I don't spike/creep/leak boost the way the car is now and I plan on getting an ECU (Pettit) before I go any further (and a Profec)
