Some newbie fuel managment questions
I plan on doing a lot of mods to my '93 R1 and i searched all of the threads and didnt find what i was looking for, I am not very familiar with the PFC's and things like that and i need some opinions and comparisons ECU upgrade vs. a PFC or something of that nature, what would be better for me in the long run?

i belive the pfc is probly the easiest to use for plug and play ecu's. haltechs, and stuff of that nature are harder to work with at the start. pfc is the widely used by guys on here, its very good imo.

A PFC is an Apex'i Power FC. It is a replacement ECU that plugs into the stock harness. There's an entire forum dedicated to the PFC here:

There are a lot of people that run the PFC, as well as a lot of people that tune it and tune it correctly. It has good base maps out of the box, and you can purchase an optional FC Commander, which is a handheld controller unit that lets you modify the maps and view sensor information and running parameters to some extent (although not as much as the tuning software does).
