Solved boost pressure leak

Alright guys after reading tons of threads in here I went over my fd with a fine tooth comb. My boost leak turned out to be an easy one to find. The flex hose that connects the plastic crossover pipe to the bottom of the intercooler was cracked. The flex hose has rubber bands on it and the crack could be hard to see depending on where it is. My crack was on the backside so I had to locate the crack by feeling and squeezing the hose. Once I took the clamps off and pulled the hose out I just put a steel insert ring inside about 4" long and put some clamps. It's sealed up nice and all my boost is back. It's a beast again

What were the symptoms? Low boost on the primary, secondary turbos or all over?

Ok symptoms. First thing you'll notice is the sound. In my case was a very distinct hiss under the hood and it's sounds like it's right by the firewall. My car is Rhd. So it sounded close to the passenger side. However the leak was right at the front at the bottom connection to the intercooler. Second. boost pressure won't go past 7psi. So no prespool for the secondary and if your having the same problem you will notice the hissing starts at around 3000rpm and goes away after 4500 rpm. It basically cancels out spooling up the secondary. I'm using my iPhone for this I'm going to post the pics today and show how I fixed the pipe. Everything is working mint on her again.
