Solenoid Resistance?

How many ohms am i soppose to have on the TCA solenoid. The one mounted on the Lower intake manifold? I just tested mine in the room temperature it shows 41.7 ohms. All the other ones show 36.7 or 37

I checked the manual it says 29 to 33 is ok? So anyone know if this is ok or what? Is tca solenoid different from others?

please reply with anything you know about these damn things.

Thanks

Don't recall what the book spec is, but it doesn't matter. Hot wire the solenoid to the battery (or some other 12 volt source like a battery charger) and see if it functions. If the solenoid passes this test and you want to be really thorough you can then put the solenoid in an oven at about 200 degrees and then test it again.
