snap rings

Just wondering if anyone used a different type of snap rings for their bushing install at all. I was looking at the snap rings on Mazdatrix and they are $6 each, seems a little pricey and was trying to see if we can use other type of snap rings with the same measurement. Thank you.

I assume you mean the snap rings that hold the rear pillow ball bushings in? If so, there's no need to replace them, there's very much reusable.

Those are the only bushings on the car that use snap rings.

You do want to replace the dust seals for sure, if you don't the new ones will fail in short order. J-Auto.net has good prices on the bushings and boots.

J-auto also has their pillow ball bushings on sale right now.
