Smoke from under manifold after track session?

Guys,

Bit of a late one this one lol, but after my recent trip to the nurburgring, my car would smoke horribly from behind/under the UIM (i think, anyway)

The car has no oil leaks (i just fixed them all!) and had less than half a sump of oil in there. Yet every time i pulled off the track and parked up, smoke billowed out from under the UIM. I think it was oil smoke but cant be sure....wasnt losing any coolant or oil.

Do you think its just something old on the engine? oil or similar? Or can it be explained somehow else with 10 mins of flat out 6krpm+ driving? The only oil leaks i had were from the engine mount on the US drivers side and a small one from the oil filter pedestal itself. Both had been fixed for about 300 miles before i went.

HAs anyone else experienced this??

I would pull the UIM and see if you can notice any residue that was being burnt. Form the location of the residue, you should be able to tell what liquid was burning.

My bet would be oil from the oil injector nozzles. If you didn't replace the crush washers, they can leak.

for a fuel leak to billowed out smoke from under the manifold would be unlikely with out a fire, what color was the smoke blue/oil white/coolant what did it smell like? check the coolant hose from the rear plate to the throttle body.

May also be the rear coolent line that sits on top of the motor on the back side above the exhaust manifold (Believe this one time fed collent to the TB). I had a leak there once with similar symptoms.
