Hi everyone.
I have two problems:
1) I have added a boost gauge to the car and I spliced the ashtray wire to get power to the gauge it and then grounded it on the chassis. It all worked fine, until one day I lost the dash lights and the tail lights, everything else working fine.
the "tail" fuse is blown (15 A). I have replacement, I was wondering if this is just a matter of extra load on the fuse that I should address putting a 20 A fuse in instead, or if there is some other issue and I should chase that down.

2) I mentioned this in another thread of mine, but I didn't get any definite answer. My air works fine. If I start the car up cold (or warm) and put the air on and let it idle, everything is fine, the car idles normally and the air works. If I start driving the car and I slow down to a stop, it happens within the first 2/3 times I do that, that the car dies, say, while I'm shifting down from second into neutral to come to a complete stop. There are no problems at all, I just re-start it, powers up no problem, even with the air on and everything works well, including the air.

If you have any insight on these two issues, I would really appreciate it. Needless to say, I searched, I found some info on both, but I really didn't find what I am exactly looking for.

The addition of a boost gauge should not have a dramatic effect on the electrical load. I'm assuming the only electrical component of the gauge is just a gauge light.

The a/c can be a host of things but it sounds like your ecu isn't recognizing the increased electrical load and adjusting the idle speed as it should. search for the info on having your ecu relearn the idle settings (I have a PFC and can't recall the details for the stock ecu.)

 

...So you think there is some other problem in that circuit?
Yes, it si a "mechanical" boost gauge, only little light bulb extra on the circuit
