sluggish fd...stock twin with mods help..

hi guys, quick review of the car. 1993 fd3s with stock twins. front mount intercooler, custom 2.5 inch pipes to and from intercooler. safc, avcr, 13 pounds of boost, cut stock downpipe with custom 3 inch pipe no cat, apexi can. the exhaust has a 2.5 inch resonator where the cat should be, about 18 inches long. the car runs the quarter in 14.2. it feels good on the street but it needs more. stock flywheel also. the rpms seem to climb slow and the hit from the second turbo is not there. all silicone lines throughout rats nest. this car is in nice shape just the wrong shop has work on it. my fd3s has ran 12.5 in the quarter. this post is for my canadian friend, louis. thanks for any suggestions. brian

Suggestions?

Get a boost guage.

Get rid of any 2.5 inch exhaust component, as this is a restriction. FD exhaust should be at least 3 inch.

This is the first step needed. Here's a guide for your friend:

If he can report back his results (boost pattern and rpms for the pattern), then someone can offer more help.
