My R1 strut bar was pretty beat up, so I hit it with some sandpaper and repainted it flat black.

But, after that, I left it sitting for a while and lost the rod end that I had taken out to paint the bar.

Anyway, does anybody know the size of the rod end threads so I can order a new rod end?

I'm pretty sure it's 10 mm x 1.5 mm pitch. The hole in the ball is also 10 mm dia.

 

Can you confirm this? I had a friend of mine (he's painting the strut bar) check it, and it seemed to be a 16mm x 1.5mm pitch, but that's a really odd size for a threaded bolt. Nobody carries rod ends in that size.
