Both can be fast, but Single tends to seem more reliable from what I've heard around here. Less under the hood with a single.

With the SEQ twins, you dont have to worry about turbo lag, but you have the "rats nest" which is a mess and prone to problems.

You can go NON-SEQ (do a search) and simplify it, but you get more lag.

You can go single turbo (which is an aftermarket kit by a variety of different companies) that can set you back quite a bit, and again, you usually have more lag.

They all came with twin turbos from the factory. One big turbo can make more power than the modestly sized twins. Single turbo cars are faster. It is a toss up which is more reliable, but in theory you should be able to make the single more reliable. In reality, it usually takes time and money to sort out some issues with the single setup, so it is not immediately more reliable. For instance, lots of people pop a motor after going single.
