simple O2 sensor question (not WB)

I did a search and did not find my answer, so here goes...
I need a new oxygen sensor (mine broke while pulling the motor) and I was wondering if there is a better replacement sensor/brand than the stock one.
I cannot afford a wide-band right now. I just want the best replacement.

TIA
Tim

u can get a cheaper o2 sensor if you buy the bosch universal o2 sensor...i think you just need to attach the wire to it....do a search for bosch sensor and you should find some good stuff

Use a Bosch universal (Part number 11027), it's less than $18 and available at any autoparts store. It's the exact same sensor, the only difference is that it doesn't have the OEM connector on the end of the wire. The only thing you have to do is cut the connector off your old one, and crimp it on to the new one.

It comes with anti-sieze compound and a small piece of shrink tubing to cover the new connection. You can heat-gun it or use a bic lighter to get it to seal.

Thanks, I just thought there might be a aftermarket one that was better than stock or something. I think the one that is one there is a Bosche since it is spliced to the connector.
