Simple battery question....right type?

I bought a new battery at Pep Boys for my FD. They gave an Engergizer one. They said it will work for the FD. My only question is, when comparing the sizes, the new one is slightly shorter than my old one. Anyone else know whether they gave me the right battery or not? Its shorter by 1/2 or 3/4 of an inch.

Thumbs up

It doesn't matter. I am using a 51R for an integra with a custom battery tray. (from turbojeff, very nice btw) Very nice, lot more room, and less weight.

Yeah pretty much a car battery is a car battery is a car battery as long as it has sufficient cranking amps for the motor (and the rotary really needs very little) and you don't have a crazy stereo system or 269 foglights.

I got an energizer 3 weeks ago. Works fine and looks ok, although smaller than the battery housing. Just be sure to use the hold-down bars.
