Silly Question - R1 Brake Vents, where are they?

I hear the R1 came with vents for the front rotors...is it possible they can be removed because I can't find anything like that on my R1.

Am I just plain wrong, or missing something?

it is very possible that yours got removed, because they are fairly easy to remove....

the brake ducts are basically flat, u-shaped pieces of plastic that extend further back from the openings in the R1 front spoiler..

Exactly. They get inserted underneath the R1 lip in front of the wheels, and attach to the fender liner with a couple of those plastic clips. The U-shaped ducts line up with the scoops in the lip.

As the others said, the brake duct is part of the underpanel that goes beneath the oil coolers. There isn't a duct to the actual rotor, like the N-tech kit.
