Should i get an Intake or a boost controller for next mod?
Well i've been having a boost problem on the primary, and i can only get it up to 7 lbs and i've had a rotary mechanic check for a boost leak and he said there is not a leak.He thinks if i get a boost controller i'd be able to control it and,he thinks that my ECU is making it go to a safe boost level since i have a straight thru exhaust. I did the airbox mod and it's better than before, but i'm sure it's not as good as a after markek intake. I can only afford to get one or the other,so what do think i should get. I would like to get 10 lbs boost, but the stock intake sucks!

Rotary Master
You have a problem somewheres, don't make it worse by adding either one. Take your car to Pettit or N-tech and have them take a look at it. You need to find the problem.

If your rotary mechanic told you to add a boost controller so that you can turn up the boost to 10lbs then I wouldn't trust him as a "rotary mechanic". There has got to be a problem some where if it's not reaching 10lbs on your secondary. What's the max boost you reach on your primary? If the ecu is in the "safe" mode then it would bog if you reach 1 or 2 psi.
