no you shouldnt put it on unless you drive w/o boosting.

You should still be getting full boost w/ a restricted exhaust. Something could be wrong w/ your turbos if your not boosting right.

No, do NOT install it as-is.

Your sequential turbo control system is f-ed up. You have a bad solenoid, kinked vacuum hose, etc.

I personally would install the downpipe and catback. You could not be boosting all the way because of a plugged up exhaust system. You could try to run it with the midpipe to see if you boost in the normal pattern. However i would deffinetly let off if you get near 10psi because you risk blowing your motor if you creep. At that point you can determine if you need to replace the cat, go with a high flow cat, or properly control your boost with a midpipe.

Find the vacuum diagram called "Simplified sequential" or something like that. Those are the only lines/solenoids you need to check for correct turbo operation, the rest is dt and emissions garbage.

If you wastegate is not ported, DO NOT put that exhaust on unless you like replacing motors.

rule of thumb...if you have to ask, if you should do something...the answer is always going to be no.

research more = you learn more

you learn more = you waste less money

You posted in your thread yesterday https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/no-boost-second-gear-only-634121/ that you hit 10 psi in 3-5th gears, but only 5 psi in the first two gears. The cause of this is documented in the turbo troubleshooting link in the FAQ thread.

If you put those parts on, you will still have low boost in the low gears and then you will overboost in the higher gears. Quit trying to bandaid the problem and fix it properly.

oh i diddnt get that memo. I would fix that boost problem and then just install the dp and catback. Your probably in over your head with the midpipe.
