shooting from the exhaust

hi all


yeah as above...is it normal? i mean when i slow down(lets say doing 80 or 100 mph and start heavily slowing down (not very but slowing ) i can hear shots from the exhaust -pipe.. what is it?

Without a pre-cat, some popping is normal however it shouldn't be too excessive.

Could be a few things:

The car running overly rich in a off-throttle setting from a bad O2 sensor reading
Too much unburnt fuel from improper spark
