Shaking

The other day i saw an fd at the track so i got to talking to him and he poped his hood. when i saw the motor it was shaking really bad. i couldnt figure it out, rotary engines are soppesed to be really smooth. then i thought about my car when it was warming up my car did it too just not as bad as his! after it was warm it stopped (on mine) the motor didnt shake on mine just the entire car just enogh to feel it. what could cause that?

Bad engine mount, ignition problems, low compression, coolant entering the combustion chamber, large bridgeport , could be any number of things.
