I agree with the pasenger deal, but when there isnt one what do we do!!!! I wouldnt mind finding something clean that molds into the interior. (Not like there is much space there anyways)

the cupholder i use slides between the center console and passenger seat and holds two drinks and has a spot for ur cell phone. $5.32 @ autozone. And before that, like everybody else, the passenger earned their ride by substituting for a cupholder

Yeah, I need one too. Mine is/will be a daily driver. Check out this post though. Someone used a Taurus part for the cup holder. Wonder how well it worked...

Hey Eric,
get a blow rotor and leave it on your passenger side floor...the hole in it is perfect size for a cup holder...the thing is so heavy it doens't move...Marshal at the Meet in Tulsa had one and said it was one of his best mods.

ok...its an awesome car. it has some extreme limits. but they are also street cars...who the freak drives their FD like it was built to be driven on the street? if you do....you dont deserve to be driving at all.

Damn, if only i can find a pic of the Altima cup holders. Curse my mom for selling that car and getting the new Altima (Though it is extremely comfortable inside).
Basicly its kinda hide-awayish and I think I can probably fit it in the wide space between the seats. I think I'll get to work on designing it now. Then I need to find someone who can do custom interior modifications.

I use the same method as Street King - between the center console, seat belt buckle, and seat. Just get one of those Gatorade Propel sports bottles with the twist open spout and put whatever you drink in it. No need to do some half-assed cupholder mod.

I have a cheap-0 plastic unit, that has this swivel clip thingie on it.............It gets double duty on my riding lawnmower for my brewskies...............and it also clips into the hole in the console where the emergency brake comes through; it clips between the plastic and the leather boot and then hangs down on the passeger side of the console............works like a friggin charm and probably wouldn't cost more than 6 or 7 bucks..........
Can't rememeber where I got it, but just look for one that has a big plastic clip as part of a swivel, with the rest being the cupholder itself..............
If you beg like MF's and really need it..........I suppose I could post pics....................

Another way of tackling the problem is finding a cup that does not need to be held. I like to drink coffee on my daily commute and after experimenting with a few cups I finally found one at Starbucks that can be laid on its side and will not drip. Essentially it is a stainless steel portable coffee press that holds about 12 oz. Most cups that are covered have a small hole in the top for air which will drip the liquid if it is put on its side on the passenger seat. This cup has a plunger in the top which is airtight when it is pushed all the way down. There is an opening lid on the top which allows you to drink your beverage and then close it tight when you are finished sipping. It keeps hot liquids hot...and cold liquids cold for quite a while. It is unusual for me to leave it in the car when I park for work...and find that I have fairly warm coffee when I leave at night.
