Selling my car
Selling my car
I have a '93 RX-7 R1 with just 5000 miles on it - I have been its only owner. It was repainted under warranty when new due to a paint curing problem but is otherwise in mint condition - it still smells new inside. What would be a fair price for it?
Please stop with this insanity. 5000 miles? This is an rx-7 right? The exilleration of my first flight in an rx7 caused me to put 5000 miles on the first week that I owned it. Stop, please. If you are for real, I'll give you $3000 for it. It's a real old car and not quite antique yet.
What's wrong with a 10 years old car with only 5,000 miles?
I am also a orginal owner of a 94 RX7 with 4,950 miles. I don't drive it now but I still warm up the car every other month. I drove at lease 100 miles a year in the last 5 years. My RX-7 still have the new car smell as well. It is a very nice car and everytime I drive it, I still say WOW even I have other more expensive cars.

Anyone who puts 100 miles a year on their passion needs a shrink. Both of you are insane and have too much money and too many cars, if you are for real. A close third place finish is Jim, but he has an excuse. his is being converted to a corvette

Theres a simple soultion, someone in the bay area, go and test drive his car...no deposit, no money down, just a test drive. It seems a little off that your very first post is "oh i have a car that isnt produced anymore, its in flawless condition and i've decided to sell it." So if its real, you wouldnt mind giving us a vin number....

Good luck
So thats it, some guy has one of the best sports cars ever built sitting in his garage for 11 years and the only information we get is that he does'nt know what its worth and that I'm a jackass? I still love my car... And thats with 4 thumbs up goodfella
Man why is everyone jumping down his throat. Show some maturity, it is his car and he can do with it what he pleases. If he is selling it someone will be a lucky buyer.
TO all the smart asses: Why do you have floor mats in your car? Are you saving the carpet for the next guy?

Rich
To the people that gave me an answer, I thank you. I will be posting it on eBay in a few days, if anyone is interested. It is a red '93 R1 in the San Diego area. I will be looking to sell it for $16-18K. I will put the VIN number up on eBay along with photos.
To the rest of the people that felt they should jump all over a stranger with rude posts back, I do not see why I am derserving of that. All I asked was a simple question. All I needed, was a little help.
