secondary turbo inlet hose rubbing belt?
Is it usual for the hose that goes from the air filter to the secondary turbo to be expanding to the point where it touches the belt? The hose looks like it was designed with a smooth section so that when it expands the ridges don't hit the belt, but I still see a couple places where it looks like the belt has cut into the pipe. As far as I can tell its not all the way through, but I'm guessing this isn't supposed to happen.
Has anybody else experienced this? I've had an issue with a loud screaming sound under full boost over 4.5k, I'm hoping maybe its just the hose expanding and rubbing the belt.

Nope, that's not normal. I had the same problem where the belt burned away enough of the hose to open a small hole. All sorts of particulates and crap were getting sucked into that hole, bypassing the filter. Get enough stuff in there and your turbo will sooner or later blow.
Replacing that hose costs about $80 if I remember correctly. I just did it 3 weeks ago.

I had the same hose rub and wear through. I temporarily used dcut tape to patch it, and just recently installed hard pipes to prevent any damage to the turbines from debri.
