Secondary Turbo dead?

I just got my 92 J-Spec FD. Pretty happy and all.

Taking it out for a drive i noticed a big problem. When coming to 4500rpm it feels like the car hit's a wall. I get no boost at all. Like the secondary turbo does not kick inn.

It shows 0.8-1.0 bar of boost presure up to 4500 rpm, then nothing happens.

Iv'e read some of the other threads here, but they all have some boost.

Eny one got some clues?

Got HKS twin filters, Re-Amimeya IC mounted in same possison as original IC. Re-Amimeya rear exhaust. Orginal downpipe and cat.

Do you know if the car has an aftermarket or upgraded ECU? If not, you could be experiencing fuel cut on the stock ECU.

If you do have an upgraded/aftermarket ECU, then welcome to the wonderful world of boost problems:

Ok a littel update here.

The car goes up to 4500 then the engine halts, it wont go eny more, like it completely dies on me. Like it has a mega caufgh. It has a Re-Amimeya modified ECU.

When rew the engine and it hit's 4500, i get exhaust out of the air filter for the secondary turbo. And the air filters are black.

Im thinking vacume, ECU or maybe some faulty solenoids valves. But iv'e had this car for 3 days now, so, im no expert.

Going to try and change ECU to a type R. A freind have a spair one.

Iv'e also been thinking about cloged Cat. Could this happen if i have this problem?

Thanks for eny answers.

Charge Relief Valve should close to allow boost to be added to primary turbo boost?

Ok, found the problem.

Im getting exhaust into the air filters on the tube that goes frome the intake housing to the air filters. Not the one frome the air pump but the other on. So i removed it frome the airfilter. They where completely black, and not green.

My air pump is defekt and will be removed as soon as my pully kitt gets here. But the ping to the cat is still there. I might be getting exhaust the wrong way.

If u understand what im trying to say it's great. Otherwise let me know.

Oh and the car goes good now, except for the exhaust coming out in the engine room.
