Secondary Turbo BOOST

hey guys,

I have been having a secondary turbo boost issue ever since I bought the car, I checked the turbos, replaced all the vacuum lines and made sure they were all where they should be. I noticed with the new vacuum lines there is two lines connecting to the lower intake manifold and they were getting so hot they would completly close up and stay stuck together so i used brake line with vacuum line on each end to prevent this...still no change. My problem is when i put my foot to the floor the primary spools and pulls hard but sometimes the secondary does too but most of the time the boost drops and when i let off the pedal you car hear the turbo spooling down...or what would appear to be(not sure what it is) Anybody know what this could be?

Thanks in advance,

Alex

Do you have a boost gage installed in the car?
I am wondering how much boost it is making before trying to transition to the secondary turbo. May be a turbo control solenoid acting up. How many miles do you have on the car?

You need to check your solenoid and actuator operation. Check the following threads for some testing tips:

There's tons of things that can cause the stock sequential twins to function abnormally. All of this has been covered before so here are the write-ups that I use when I have boost issues:
