How can I make the secondaries open up without the stock mechanism/linkage? The nut got loose somehow and all that **** fell off somewhere in CT....
Im having a helluva time finding a set fs and mazda sells pretty much what other places have suggested, buy a TB(which is out of the question at this point)
Any ideas, suggestions or anything really!

Remove the plates and behave while the car is cold.

take it out and block off the holes... my blockoff plate set that I got came with one for the secondary throttle butterflies. getting them out is somewhat of a bitch though. if you can't loosen the little screws, torch 'em first.

I just used a good screwdriver (yes there are differences in wrenches) and they came right out. A friend of mine actually clipped before and after each plate (no dust) and everything came apart nicely.

Find a used TB, and use that linkage between the single primary and dual secondary.
