second gear seems not to have as much pick us the others ..plse help

Hello Everyone

I bought a 3inch down pipe, mid pipe and cat-back and when i installed it I noticed that when I'm shifting from first to second (while on the throttle) that second gear feels like it is laging, but when down shifting into second and then stepping on the throttle it goes like crazzy. What could this be? and how can i fix it. Please help if you can.

Thanks

Frank

Question

Are you shifting at redline? What kind of boost pattern are you seeing?

Question

You're not giving us enough details at all. What about rpm, boost, if you are hearing any weird noises coming from under the hood on boost. Have you checked all of your intercooler hoses and couplers and all of the vacuum hoses that you can get to without taking off your UIM?

I tried at different rpm's 3k-8k same slow slugesh response not peppy like other gears,it goes but does not rev up as fast as the other gears.RPM seems to go up a lot slower and I can feel the responce is not there.

thanks for your help so far

Do you have a boost gauge, and if so are you even getting any boost 1-2 psi, if it does that try letting go of the gas and then stepping on it again and you should get boost, worked for me with something similar. I had problems with my check valves i think but going single now so fu$# it
