seat belt tensioner

My driver's seatbelt appears to have lost some of its spring; it only takes up about half the slack and I have to make sure the clasp doesn't get smashed between the door and seat when I shut the door.

Anyone have this problem and have a fix? It is beginning to annoy me.

Driver side seat belt

You didn't say what year car you had ....but I have a set out of a 93, Black in color if your interested. $35.00 + shipping for the Drivers side $25.00 + shipping for the passenger side or $50.00 for both plus shipping. I don't know of any way to increase the spring tension once it has weakened.
