Seat belt harness that attaches to rear strut tower where to buy?
I do autocrossing on my fd does anyone know where i can buy a seat belt harness that attaches to the rear strut tower behind the drivers side seat? I believe in bolts to one of the bolts on the rear strut
I've seen the harnesses come up occasionally in the Parts FS section. At least for my local autocross events I've never seen them check dates. You have a reinforced rear strut brace?
I went with the Rotary Extreme harness bar that replaces the stock rear strut tower bar and I run Takata drift III harnesses (Schroth ASM DOT legal).
I recommend the Takata harness for ease of use over the Schroth ones my friends have as their buckles are a pain to use and the Takata is really smooth and fast.
Technically, the harness bar is the only non SCCA ASP legal part of my car.
It is legal to replace the rear strut bar.
It is legal to add a harness bar.
But, it is not legal for a replacement strut bar to have any other function.
Stupid and no one would protest it, but there it is.
