Seat belt guides
Does anyone know where i can buy these and maybe the seat plastics but most importantly the holders? I was thinking about going with after-market seats but decided just to reupholster my tan and the belt guides are broken.

The tan guides are NLA last time I checked about a year ago. I ended up making the snap on straps for my new tan seat leathers, using the tan leather from my old seat skins when I did mine. Some info is in my build thread here: https://www.rx7club.com/build-thread...oject-1149941/

It is listed as a part for the Spirit R Recaros. But you have to find the upper clip on a scrap set of seats.
Also be mindful there is a plastic backing plate on the inside, that likely falls down lower into the seat.
For those that may not know, the seat cover unzips around the passthrough hole in the upper seat.
But it is still a pain to try to mount the replacement.

There is a nice aftermarket alternative on Ebay.

Yep. On the inside of the seat is a rectangular plastic retainer. It has two holes in it that the outside post slip into. It has two metal one way push on retaining fasteners on the inside that hold everything sandwiched together. They are a pain to remove and easily lost. On a stock seat, you unzip the seat a few inches. Unfortunately, it zippers away from where you need to work. You have to reach up inside about 2 to 3 inches. With some force, you can get your fingers in there and push the foam out of the way. You almost need three hands because the inside foam is trying to push you out the hole time. I used a fork tool to pop off each of the retaining fasteners. Be ready to grab each of them because they will get lost easily. Having a magnet stuck in there helps. After you get it all removed and ready to install, re-bend your retaining washers so they will hold onto the post correctly. Find a socket that the post on the outside will slip into and will support ID of the retainers. I believe a 8 mm 1/4” drive deep socket is perfect. Put on a little 1/4” drive 4” or so extension, this helps push the retaining fastener down on the post. You have to use both hands while holding the outside at the correct angle, so you can install the retainers. The problem is the inside rectangular plastic piece always tries to fall out of the way. After a few attempts, you’ll get the idea. I found the best way is to put two fingers on the outside and put your thumb on the inside. Use your other hand with the retaining clip on the socket. I used a little bit of duck seal / plumbers putty ( similar to kids play- doh) to hold the clip on the end of the socket. With the hand on the outside, rotate the assembly so you can get a straight shot with the socket. Once you get in there, it will make a lot more sense. Rinse and repeat on the other seat.
As far as the factory recaros go, it’s simple in comparison. Since the recaros you can see and get to the back without issue.

Could not have said it better myself.
As for putting the push washer on, I tried using a straw. Slide the washer on the straw then put the straw over the post and force the washer off of it.
I was only partly successfull with that mind you.
Also note the plastic post, if old, will want to break, just to make your day.

yeah, I'm waiting until my resin printer is done printing Christmas nick-knacks and I'll get a set printed out. I have some ABS like resin that, if I can get to print, would be perfect application for something like this.
