Sealing AN fittings
My car's booked in for mapping in a few days, but I'm having a nightmare sealing the AN fitting to my FPR (Aeromotive A1000 -6).
For the input on the FPR, I've got braid with an aeroquip fitting to a M>M adaptor, then the adaptor is screwed into the FPR.
For the output I have an M to M adaptor going to a right angled barb fitting for the hose.
As far as I can tell (and it's hard to be sure!) it's leaking from the union on the input side somewhere. I've removed it, taped it, replaced, removed, taped, tightened, loosened, and it's still doing it.
Anyone got any hints?
How tight should I be doing up the unions?
Is just PTFE on the adaptor > FPr enough, or do i need an O-ring there?
TIA

You really shouldn't be using tape on any of those fittings. The ports on that FPR require o-rings on the m-m adapters. If you've got the o-rings on there already then maybe you should contact Aeromotive. I've got that same FPR and I've never had a problem. Hope that helps and good luck! :-)
