i cant get over looking at the car and seeing those edgy body lines and then a round roof! i like it but looks too much like a kit. the body lines DO NOT flow throughout the car.

I love how so many people bag on this car when it's a perfect example of the refined kind of tuning that the Japanese shops do. Nothing half-assed, and even though the body kit may not be everyone's cup of tea, it's definitely not slapped together and painted at Earl Sheib's with bigass chrome Niche rims like alot of "tuner" cars in the US.

And that quality of engineering on that motor is just insane! It almost looks factory. Even the big US FD tuners haven't put together something that looks that clean. Now only if Best Motoring or Option Video were to do a full feature on this car already!

This thing IS a supercar,(4 rotor). The tail and doors looks like a Lambo... I would make the front less round to match the rear.... Its Hot.... "Go 4 Rotors!"

It would be 24A, not 26b, 26b is a totally different engine, made from 13b housings, The scoot engine woiuld be a 24a, made from 12a housings (or rotors, not too sure)

I think it could have one of those fast up and down shift kits on it. That would explain the high shift ****

You mean a sequential gearbox? That's what I was thinking as well.

I agree, hence the high shifter and paddles on the steering wheel.

I had a chance to see the real SCOOT new FD with 4 roter. It might sound weird, but I thought it is still RX7. The car maintains FD taste and does not break the flow. It's really different from some pictures. Even though I have to admit that the car is totally different from ordinary FDs, I somehow thought that it still is FD.
Maybe the pics and the real car have the different impresions.

Not to crazy number infact. Considering that the race 787B R26B 4 rotor has about 700hp. 682hp is not that far fetch. Also forced induction can increase over 100% of a cars horsepower. 1400hp is a do-able traget. Getting there is the best part i hope the test driver pack 2 extra pairs of underwear.

I was at the drags in NewZealand this weekend and finally got to see a 26B FD (not the scoot one) in action, the sound is incredible!! Definately reminds me of an indy car sound..... doing mid/high 10s naturally aspirated

i think we all do.. sounds like they plan on selling them special order retail... would easily be over 20k for that engine i would imagine.. if all new parts.. CF and the dry sump system.. as well as the exhaust...and engine management.
