I love screwing with my friend on our way home from work. He has a 2000 Si with some bolt on's. We can go 35mph and he'll downshift to second, I'll just stay in third and slowly catch up till the second turbo comes on line. Then..... See ya... He wont even try to race me from a stop. Oh well I think i could guess would be the outcome.

So the guy had quad carbs.... this should be interesting. 13:1 compression is ridiculously high. I'd be moderately concerned. You will prob get the jump on him, as his torque/hp is even more lopsided (all hp, no tq), but he should bring in a pretty fast time. Let us know how it turns out. Good luck, but you shouldn't need it

what you saw was an all-motor monster, or monster waiting to happen. I believe that if he wasn't using that crappy AEM standalone...he would have handed your a$$ to you on a silver platter. I'm a rotary n00b. But honda's are my specialty. Nobody will put individual throttle bodies unless they are planning to go VERY fast. I'm talking mid 12's fast. (remember its a honda)
i have a CRX that runs mid 13's not tuned well...(forced induction of course) But the management system i'm using is the Hondata s200 for boost. I haven't tuned it with the Motec wideband o2 sensor yet...so its not running at peak efficiency. So...not all honda's are to be taken lightly...(although i have to say...alot are)

if he is all motor you will kill him no matter what. i've seen all the quick all motor honda guys and the most power they can put down on gas, any gas, has been 270 to the wheels. this is w/ a fully built $30k drag motor, that's breaks all the time. the new breed of na honda motors are drunk so they make more power now. i estimate he has no more than 210 to the wheels. regardless, an all-motor honda will need extensive weight lightening and wheelie bars to even have a chance against an fd.
