I just installed a used M2 stage-3 ECU, my car only has the cheap bastard intake but i'm planning on DP and CB so I did the ECU first.

When I started the car I thought it was fugged up! A GIANT cloud of oil smoke came out the exhaust plus it was idling (if you can call it that) like it had an untuned peripheral port, then went slower and slower until it died.

Then I remembered that I had disconnected the MAP sensor to put some black rtv sealant on the hoses and forgot to put it back!! What a relief...

BTW, I'm trying premix for the first time and the car was sitting for a couple days. Do you think this caused the big smoke cloud?

 

Not unless you poured in a gallon of 2-cycle oil.
