Unhappy saved by the spare

I got about 1 mi. away from work this morning. It was real cold out, and I after each stop light I would give it enough throtle to hit boost and the back end would get a little side ways. I thought the old girl was just beening peppy. It didnt help that I have a new cd player and was jammin. After a few miles down the road doing about 45 I let off the gas and she hooked hard to the left, thats when I knew I had a flat tire. I pulled over hoping that it was just low. Well as my luck has it the rim almost wore a hole thru the side wall of the tire.
Its a damn good thing the tire needed replaced and that it did not hurt the rim.. Any way guys I need some new tires I still have the stock 93 size rims. could you recommend the best size and what kind of tire? p.s. I want a all-out- proformance tire.

I second the s03s at 245s all around. You might have a little fitment problem up front depending on your suspension.
