OK, but does anyone know anything about the fuel rail adapter? I looked on Chucks site but couldn't find them.

I didn't think Chuck was selling them separate. I thought he was only selling them with his SARD FPR.

Hmmm, I guess that would explain it. But why would he say it could be used with any aftermarket FPR?

Because it's just a generic fitting for anything that could connect to it using a rubber line or AN-6 fitting (which would be any FPR). He just happens to only sell the SARD FPR.

We sold out on the adapters and they are on back order at this time. That's why I remove it from the website for now.

With your mechanical ability, I am 110% sure you can install it yourself and save money on labor.

When are you coming to chop up the front lip and get it out of here?

I do sell it separately but now it's on back order. You can use it with any kind of FPR.

Chuck - any FD pics and/or instructions/advice on mounting and routing/connectiing to stock lines? Does it matter where it's mounted? ...being limited with oem rubber lines, I assume?

You can pretty much mount it anywhere you want. With the stock twin, we mount it near the ABS. For the single turbo, you can mount it in front of the intake manifold where the solenoid valves used to be.

For additional fuel lines that you are going to need, we also sell the SARD rubber fuel lines. The fuel lines are $18 per 1 meter and they come in sections of 1 meter.

Thanks for bringing this back up. I would like to know if SARD makes an adapter or fitting to replace the FPD also.

Sard has a gauge port but their gause is about $111. I bought one from Baker Precision for $25, you can also get a B&M for about $30. Most likely you will have to retap the port deeper.

You can use the same fitting for both FPD and FPR. It has a threaded hole to use either a -6 or a nipple rubber hose barb. You will be loosing a few inches of that pipe and the hose won't reach, so expect to replace the fuel hose. HKS also makes a fitting with the -AN fitting as part of it (not a seperate screw in fitting like Sard's) but it's double the cost.

Apologies for digging up an older thread, but does anyone know if the Sard FPR has a built in FPD like the Aeromotive unit does? I plan to use one of these when I update my fuel system, but am still undecided on which. I like like how the Sard has the rail adapter yet the Aeromotive handles both FPR/FPD in one unit, and I haven't seen any mention on the forum about this feature w/the Sard.

Also, where can one get the Sard? Last I heard, Rotary Extreme was no longer but maybe I heard wrong?

thanks,
Mike

Rishie and AutoRnD are highly recommended.
