Also, is that a real RE steering column gauge housing or a Pettit? Lastly, which Saab DIN gauge bezel did you get? There are two different ones: a metal one with the full bracket that slides into a DIN slot and a textured plastic bezel only with pop-out gauge plugs. TIA.

Again....velly nice. Should lend sunglasses out at tech inspection.
yeah i saw an alternator that had been polished, very nice but i needed to get my car back together and couldn't wait too much longer. i didn't think about the secondary turbo intake pipe but that'll probably be done next time a take the car apart to do some other little things after this season.

yeah that is a real re gauge pod...paid 2 bills plus some change. it came in the re amemiya box and everything.

as for the gauge holder it is not the saab one. it is just a textured piece of thick glossy plastic that has been cut to fit snugly in there. nothing tricky about it and it works perfectly. here's another pic. thanks for the compliments.

all the polishing cost me in the around 3 bills + shipping which is a great price for what gets done. manifold 100, throttle body 50 etc. i tried to polish it myself and it is just not worth the time it takes. i actually did the ic core myself (w/ a dremel) but it didn't come out half as good as the rest. e-mail wayne at info@phase2motortrend.com for a real quote. they do a great job in all aspects.

without a professional setup to use it is just not worth it to try.

cool. i used to live on 23rd ave in the set. i live in the other side of the city, in the marina now, and my car could definitely use some help right now. it has been under the axe for two weeks now. im finally getting around to fixing everything that has broken with age (silicone hoses, broken solenoids, pulsation dampener, a whole grip of gaskets and seals, injector o-rings/seals, some oil sender lines, etc. etc., and searching for a mystery oil leak...). we should meet sometime after i get everything fixed. i have a whole lot of goodies at home that i wanna install, but i need to get around to getting my car running good first, which i should have done a long time ago.

thanks for the kind words. all the polishing was done in LA where http://www.phase2motortrend.com is located. you could actually drive all your stuff there i guess since you're in san diego.

Polishing by Wayne = polishing by TTT. Not sure if T3 is partners with Wayne's shop but you can send it to either one. Here are some pix from Teddy's site: http://www.geocities.com/teddyturbo
