I tried two brands that did nothing for the car. I was running a little sluggish and my mileage was down. Then I tried redline on the advice of someone on the forum. My mileage went up almost 3 miles to the gallon. That redline product really worked like he said it would. I got it at Pep Boys and it was under 6 bucks. I have also been told to put it in before you do your oil change. Run it through and after a tank full, change your oil.

I have also read on this forum that Chevron Techron is a favorite among users. Costs like $5 or $6 bucks.

Fuel Treatment

Yes it is a good idea, even Mazda recommends it. They have their own formulation not sure how much but I'm sure the higher end stuff like Redline would be the same.
