sad day. only 5lbs on 2nd turbo. help needed.

Hi, i was driving home today and i floored it boost pattern did its normal 11-10-11. when i floored it again a few moments later it did 11-10-5. i almost cried. so to make sure i did it 3 more times with the same results. i did a search and read that it could very lickely be the turbo control actuater under the car. that what has solved others second turbo problems. please give me any more suggestions or advice, even some encouraging words maybe this has happened to someone else and it is an easy fix, so i am keeping my fingers crossed. thank you for your time and help, scott

I know it feels... since I have had my car I've been working on boost problems. I'm so close to getting it to normal boost though. Yeah check your C clips on the actuators make sure they didn't fall off. Also check some of the vacuum hoses maybe one of those popped off.

well, i know i am about to be hated by everyone that has been working for months to fix their boost problem, but i went out in my garage last night and found the hose that popped off. it was connected to the black box behind the alternator. put it back on and back to happy boosting. thannks for the reply and i wish you good luck, scott
