I am about to install an Apex S-AFC. I was just wandering if anyone can tell me exactly what the unit is capable of doing for me. Is it possable to tune out the 3000 rpm hesitation? Get any kind of hp gains? Any thing? I bought it kind of blind because a friend offered it to me for $200 so I jumped on it even though I'm not really familiar with the unit at all. Also if any one has any tips on tuning it that would be great. I have a '93 touring only mods are turbo timer, pettit aluminum AST, and cat back exhaust. Thanks in advance.

 

The AFC should only fine tune your settings. It won't get rid of the 3000rpm hesitation. When I had it on, it was good for monitoring different things most, more than boosting the HP levels.
