Rx7store v-mount intercooler with stock radiator?

I wonder if anyone knows if the rx7store v-mount intercooler will fit with the stock radiator?

The IC is worthless and worse than a SMIC w/o the v-mounted radiator.

You have 3 options, kit with only the radiator or with the just the IC for around $550, then the full kit for about $1200.

Just buy the full kit if you are going to go with the rx7 store setup. The stock radiator is a disaster waiting to happen.

I know the Rotary Extreme V-mount intercooler did fit with stock radiator but I only had to do that for a short time while I waited for a couple missing brackets and didnt do any boosting on it. You would never want to plan on running a setup like that on purpose.

just FYI i had basically bad performance with this VMIC kit. the coolant temps were rock solid (with undertray removed) but the air temps were not good at all. at a hot track day (ambient temp ~90*F) the intake temps were getting up to almost 160*F on the track in 4th gear.

the inside of the core also did not have very dense "inter foilers" or whatever they're called (basically the cooling fins that are inline with the airflow inside the "tubes" of the IC). i was not impressed with the IC for track use.

i switched to an ebay CXracing smaller intercooler and made a fresh air intake and the temps dropped substantially and were great.

Same experience I had but with street driving. Obviously NOT 160f but easily 20-30 degrees over ambient on a hot day.
